A floor sweeper works dry: a rotating main brush throws debris into a hopper while side brushes pull it in from kerbs and racking legs, and an on-board filter keeps the dust it disturbs out of the air rather than redistributing it. That makes a sweeper the right first machine wherever the floor collects grit, packaging waste, swarf, leaves or dust — and the only practical one for yards and external areas, where washing isn't an option.
The 6 MACH machines below run from a 730 mm manual push sweeper to a 2,100 mm diesel ride-on with a 500-litre hopper, so the choice comes down to floor area, how much debris the surface throws off, and whether you are working inside, outside or both. Battery and manual machines suit indoor use where noise and exhaust matter; diesel and LPG machines take the outdoor and heavy-debris work.
Narrow it down by format — walk-behind sweepers for smaller or congested areas, ride-on sweepers for large open floors — or tell us your site and we'll recommend one. Every machine here is available to buy or hire.

The MACH MEP is a manual, cordless, battery-free walk-behind sweeper with vacuum filtration technology, collecting debris into a 26-litre front hopper with a 4-litre rear hopper for fine dust. Push-powered cleaning with controlled dust and zero running cost.
Work back from the area and the window you have to clean it in. The MACH 1 covers around 3,510 m² an hour on foot, the MACH 3 PRO around 10,000 m², and the MACH 8 up to 29,400 m². Those are book figures at full speed in a straight line, so on a congested floor with racking, doorways and turns, plan on roughly half. Tell us the area and the time available and we will size it properly.
Battery machines are quiet and emission-free, so they can run indoors during a shift — the MACH 2 and MACH 3 PRO are 24 V battery machines. Diesel and LPG take over where run time and debris load are heavier or the work is outdoors: the MACH 5 offers a Kubota diesel alternative to its battery version, and the MACH 8 is diesel or petrol/LPG only. The MACH MEP needs no power at all — it is push-powered with vacuum filtration, so it has no running cost and no charging routine.
They do different jobs. A sweeper lifts dry debris into a hopper; it will not remove tyre marks, spills or ground-in soiling. If the floor is a finished indoor surface that needs to look clean rather than just be clear, you want a scrubber-dryer — see our industrial scrubber dryers. Plenty of sites run both: a sweeper for the yard and warehouse aisles, a scrubber-dryer for production and customer-facing areas.
Into an on-board hopper, which you empty when full. Capacities here run from 26 litres on the manual MACH MEP through 40, 62 and 85 litres on the MACH 1, MACH 2 and MACH 3 PRO, to 500 litres on the MACH 8. The larger ride-ons empty without you handling the waste: the MACH 5 carries a 150 kg hydraulic high-dump hopper and the MACH 8 discharges at 1,580 mm — straight into a skip or bin rather than onto the floor.
