TRUSTED BY:
On a floor broken up by racking, counters, machinery or doorways, deck width stops being the useful measure — access is. A walk-behind scrubber-dryer is steered on foot, so it cleans right up to a plinth and turns where a seated machine has to reverse, and the smallest of these will pass through a standard doorway and store under a bench.
The four M-series walk-behinds run 360, 500, 710 and 810 mm cleaning paths and 1,250 to 3,650 m² an hour, all battery with on-board chargers, so they work indoors with no fumes and no trailing cable. Weight climbs with capacity — 63 kg for the M360 against around 300 kg for the M710 and M810 — which matters for lifts, ramps and mezzanine floors as much as for the cleaning itself.
If the floor is genuinely open, a seated machine will clean it faster — see ride-on scrubbers, or the full floor scrubbers range. Buy or hire.

The M500 is a walk-behind scrubber-dryer with a 500 mm cleaning path and up to 2,000 m²/hour productivity, built for high-traffic floors. Mechanical, electronic-free controls keep training and maintenance minimal.
The widest one your narrowest regular route will take. The M360 cleans a 360 mm path at around 1,250 m² an hour and is built for confined areas; the M500 doubles output at 2,000 m²; the M710 and M810 reach 3,200 and 3,650 m² with 710 and 810 mm decks. Going wider than the floor allows just means lifting the deck to get past obstacles, which costs more time than the extra width saves.
Whether the machine helps you push it. The M500 is brush assisted — the rotation of the scrubbing brush pulls the machine gently forward, with no separate drive motor to maintain. The M710 and M810 are electronic assisted, with a powered drive up to 4.5 km/h that takes the effort out of a 300 kg machine on a long run. The compact M360 is mechanical drive and light enough at 63 kg to steer unaided.
It has less to go wrong, and on a site without a technical team that counts. The M500 is deliberately mechanical with electronic-free controls, which keeps training short and fault-finding simple. Where the round is long enough that assisted drive saves real operator time, the M710 and M810 justify the extra electronics — it is a trade, not an upgrade.
Only if the site is uniform. A common pattern is a small walk-behind for congested and customer-facing areas plus something wider for open floor, rather than one compromise machine that is too big for half the site and too slow for the rest. Tell us the layout and we will say honestly whether one machine does it.
